Limerick: Once a Pathan Paid For a Brandy

Limerick : Once a Pathan paid for a brandy

Once a Pathan paid for a brandy
While in the company of (a) Dandy
Dandy was all so gay
He squealed like a blue jay
While Pathan jumped up on his bounty.

The sparrows all come there to eat free.
One day a Blue Jay,
Chased them all away.
The Hawk said “Hooray” dinner for me!
