Alan Aldrich was a sports reporter some declared he was a news distorter. He denied their gripes and said by all rights He was just an athletic supporter.

Thanks, Jan. When I was about 12, my Mother said we had to go to a sporting goods store and buy an "athletic supporter." I had no idea what she was talking about. I soon, however, got the hang of it.
