Death and Pain
Death and Pain
(Noticed that someone is already
reading my poems. Who are you?)
After the great war we had fought,
With it death and pain was brought;
Never again;
Such a sin;
Peace is the answer that we sought.
War was finished, done and complete;
To the peace table we all did meet;
Thought for a while,
And then did smile;
A treaty each other us would greet.
Quiet and calm again is here at last;
Horrible war has been far in the past;
Sun soon did set;
We will not forget;
For those dead flew flag at half mast.

As usual had exceeded ten again and
had to add the very last few that you
probably already knew.
