Toddler's Play

Toddler’s Play There once was a home with two daughters. Mother was sleeping. Two adorned her! Her lipstick took a trip. Doorbell rang; Mom ran…zip! Hysterical! Lipstick-faced...caught her! © Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen February 27, 2010 Poetic form: Limerick

This is certainly a very good Limerick, Dane Ann. Haven't completed mine... But you are so good!! In my mind I picture this whole scene! Great job! Thanks for taking your time to read so many of my poems, Dane Ann! I want to say that I truly appreciate all your kindness and friendship. You have a heart of gold! I bet you already know that, but I need to tell you that, from my heart! Peace and much love, Audrey

Cute title and cute poem!!Thanks for your comment to my blog, Dane Ann. I want to do a limerick contest here, don't know about Crayola Monster , but something to do with colors, I know a challenge for that. Hopefully I can get around to a contest sometime. LUv, Andrea

Now this is one terrific limerick, Dane Ann!! I can just see the daughters being "creative" as they apply the lipstick. Very funny! Love you, Carolyn And I didn't know today was your birthday. Wish you had told me earlier! Hope it is a happy one!
