the neighbor's grass is always greener and their house is always cleaner but just remember that come December their family won't be any leaner

Adam, You met the criteria of a Limerick (syllables and rhyme) but the message you're conveying is bewildering to me. Nevertheless, I'm glad to see that your poem was featured.

I would say this is well done for a lemerick. I enjoyed the humor, I could go on and on about who and how this makes me feel. I think people will laugh because they can relate to it. Well done, thanks for sharing. Judy Riley
