Glad you enjoyed my poems, Bob. I'm sure the good Lord forgave you - he does have a sense of humor. I enjoyed "'enry the 8th". Clever English dialect. Death got him in the end, no matter how many wives he 'ad. God bless, Maureen

hahaha, the man that survived all his women. He was a unique individual for SURE. Remember the song "I"m Enery the eight I am" by Herman's Hermits? I loved that song. yes, of course that was me in the drunken stupor, Robert. I sure hope others were able to figure that out because I know a few people did not even realize it!

This is a great rendition of who 'enry the eighth really was! I love the 'umor within your write! Yeah 'enry the eighth had many wives that died under his reign, but he ended up being killed himself! Great Work!!

Old 'Enry would have had a ball in the divorce courts. Speaking of Lawrence Welk. My wife plays a viola that used to be played by a member of Welk's band. He had to quit because of a hearing loss. LOve, daver
