Cougar and Cub

There once was this gal – much older And I being young but bolder Took hold of her hand Said I am your man But she gave me the old cold shoulder Now I – being not a quitter Thought how am I going to get her I must make her mine The very next time My parents get a baby sitter Written - 6/19/11 by mdailey For Dr. Mehta's contest - Cougar Effect

Adoration of baby sitter, so much love, her eyes don't glitter, with eternal love, she's in charge, don't be bitter, I have worshipped her the sitter, Unrequited love... good one mate, Don

Aw, this is so cute, Mike. WhenI was a teen babysitting, I really enjoyed the little boys' company. This is very clever and sure to please Dr. Ram. Jack and I are judging our contest blindly, so we don't know who wrote which poem. I can say that we have received some great entries and only a few with misspellings. Wishing you success in Dr. Ram's contest! Love, Carolyn

My dad was about 34 when he died - I was barely three. I never knew the man. This October marks the 60th anniversary since his passing.
