Common Sense, Sense of Humour

Common sense once rebuffed her close friend— Sense of humour gone nigh out of hand, The dame now looking tame, The dance they danced looked lame, Yet, patched up when, what a perfect blend! ______________________________________________________ Tongue-in-cheek | 19.03.2017 | Poet’s note: common sense, since it is not so common, often creates some humour when absent. One without the other looks tame, and when they marry in a happy marriage the two make a perfect blend.
