A Second Limerick Joke

A leprechaun grants me three wishes—it’s my lucky day! But for my ex he’ll double each gift--much to my dismay! Not at all deterred And for the last and third I say beat me to death just half way

Daniel, you made it! Just funny how being given a wish reveals a lot about one’s character. I really am inspired by your take on the subject.

That was a loss for you unfortunately. I do like jokes and strange endings to stories. However, when the heart is struck, it can be painful forever.

One must make a hefty sacrifice to get what they want apparently. Not a bad deal! ;) Great silly one, dear. ~Laura

Yes, this was simply an adaptation of a joke that a co-worker told me. Very silly like: Why is that Irishman walking on the roof? Someone told him drinks are on the house!

Jan--humor is indeed a good thing. It does something kind for the stressed mind. I need to feel it periodically to keep an even keel, and so I go out and find it in the strangest places.

G'day Duke... thanks for the grin Duke. I just hope for your sake your ex doesn't meet the little green man and wish to be half pregnant - enjoyed - Lindsay

The poor soul first asks for a million, but the ex gets 2. Then for a mansion on hill, but the ex gets one twice as high up and twice the square feet. BTW, I don't have an ex. I am going on 38 years right now. Married to the best girl ever. However, it seemed funnier that way. Poetic license sometimes conveys the wrong impression. You have made me smile double time, my friend and I know you will many times more!!
